Dates & Times
- Wednesday 6 – Friday 8 November 2024: 10:00am -5:00pm
- Saturday 9 November 2024: 10:00am – 5:00pm (playoffs, semi finals, grand finals, presentations)
Age Requirements
- Age is determined as at 31 December 2024
- Minimum age for competition is 40 years (women) and 50 years (men)
- Maximum squad size is 12 players with 6 players on the field (goalkeeper, 5 outfielders) at any one time.
Divisions
- Women: 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+
- Men: 50+, 60+, 65+, 70+
- Mixed: W40+/M50+ Social (Minimum 3 women on the field at all times)
- Mixed: W55+/M60+ Social (Minimum 3 women on the field at all times)
Player age exemptions:
For all Men’s, Women’s and Mixed age divisions, teams are permitted to register one (1) player who are no more than two (2) years under the age threshold for the given age division.
If your team wishes to register a player under the above exemption, please email info@mastersgames.com.au with the team name, player name and player date of birth.
Fees
Each competitor is required to pay the Games Fee once and then the Sport Fee for each sport in which they register. Non-Playing Officials are not required to pay the Sport Fee.

Entries Close

Additional Information
- What is Walking Football? It is low-impact, team-based exercise, utilising the defined ‘Walking Football Rules and Formats,’ specifically non-contact with the players and always having one foot on the ground. For more information visit – https://footballqueensland.com.au/walking-football/
- Each team is required to have a team manager who will register your team via the team manager portal prior to any player registrations.
- Once the team is created, team managers can register players via the team manager portal or individuals can register themselves via the Competitor Entry Form.
- If you would like to play but do not have a team, please use our Sports Bulletin Board to advertise your availability or search for a team looking for players.
- If your team is short players please use the Sports Bulletin Board to advertise for players or look for available individuals.
- Matches will be played with a modified format (6v6) on a smaller pitch with shortened game times.
- The six players per side consist of a goalkeeper and 5 outfield players.
- The playing surface is grass.
- Moulded studs and ripple-sole boots are permitted (no metal tags or long studs).
- Game duration will be confirmed once team entries close
- The pitch size is 40m x 25m
- The goal size is 3m x 2m
- A size 5 ball will be used for all divisions.
- Age groups may be amalgamated for round robin competition depending upon the number of team entries in each age group. However, medals will be awarded based on age category.
- In addition to the maximum 12 team players, a maximum of three “Non-Playing Officials” (e.g. coach, manager) per team will be accepted.
