Fees

Each competitor is required to pay the Games Fee once and then the Sport Fee for each sport in which they register. Please pay your sport fee when registering your sport component via Nominate.

Sport Fee

  • Prep, Preliminary, Novice, Elementary, Medium, Advanced, Small Tour, Medium Tour and Big Tour: $70 per horse per level (includes two tests per level)
  • Admin/Ground fee: $25 per rider

Games Fee: 

  • Competitor:
    Early bird $130 (1 March – 31 May 2024)
    Saver $145 (1 June – 31 August 2024)
    Standard $155 (from 1 September 2024)

Payment processing fee: 1.4% (incl GST)

Additional Information

  • All riders must complete a Pan Pacific Masters Games registration and a horse/event registration separately via nominate.com.au
  • Riders can ride up to two horses in any class.
  • Riders are permitted to ride the same horse over two consecutive levels.
  • Riders may ride a maximum of three horses across the competition.
  • Dress code; EA approved helmet and riding boots, white breeches, gloves and saddle pad. Jacket and stock or tie. It is expected horses will be in good, healthy condition, plaited and presented to compete.
  • Arena familiarisation will be available – to be advised
  • It is highly recommended that horses are secured in a stable or yard when at the event grounds. Stables for horse/s are available via nominate.com.au
  • Camping is available on site via link coming soon!
  • Callers are permitted.

  • Official feed supplier, Farrier and Vet will be advised within the riders letter.
  • Draw will be issued 14 days prior to competition.
  • The event will be using the Volunteer Sign-Up app. If spots are not filled, the event organisers will nominate competitors to fill them.
  • The competition is presented by Equestrian Gold Coast Club with support from Equestrian Queensland and Southport Pony and Hack Club.
  • Competition will be run utilising indoor and outdoor sand arenas.
  • Trade Sites – the host club are thrilled to offer PPMG Merchandise and a small Trade Village in attendance over the weekend; including Gold Coast Equine Clinic, Outback Spectacular, Cavaleira Equestrian, Gold Coast Turf Club, Two Old Nags, Zebu Equetrsian Designs and Equicool, as well as the support of Land Rover Gold Coast. CONDITIONS OF ALL COMPETITIONS

  • It is the riders’ responsibility to know the rules under which they compete
  • Rules: This event will be conducted under the current EA Rules, Policies and Regulations, subject to any amendments or inclusions. “Neither the Organising Committee of this competition to which these rules apply, or the EA, accepts any liability for accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, grounds, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever”
  • Refunds: A refund may only be made if documented proof (i.e. veterinary or medical certificate) is provided prior to the commencement of the event or produced within 3 days of the completion of the event to the Event Secretary. A refund shall be a minimum of 50% of the entry fee. The administration fee is not refundable. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals/scratchings advised from the day prior to the commencement of the event. Entry fees will be refunded in full for scratchings before the closing date and for riders on the reserve list who are not offered a start in a competition. The administration fee will not be refunded under any circumstances after close of entries. In the event that the event and/or competition/s are cancelled prior to the event commencing 50% of entry fees will be refunded. Should the event be underway and need to be cancelled due to a public heath order, weather event or any other reason no refunds will be provided. Requests for partial refunds may be considered should the event organisers have any surplus income remaining after covering all event expenses.
  • Stallion owners must abide by the EA Stallion Safe Practice Rules and Regulations Policy. As suitable stabling is available TDI requires that ALL STALLIONS MUST BE STABLED throughout the event and stables must be booked and paid for with entry. Compliant Green Stallion Identification must be worn at all times outside of the stable. A notice must be placed on the outside of the stable or yard clearly notifying others that the horse within is a stallion.
  • Only those horses/ponies entered into the competition are permitted on the grounds. Companion horses/ponies or other companion animals are not permitted on the grounds. Anyone who brings another horse/animal without permission will have their entry withdrawn from the event. No refund will be given.
  • Dogs: Dogs are permitted on the bitumen side of the grounds only, and MUST be leashed and under control of the owner/handler at all times.  The owner of any dog on the ground accepts the responsibility of the consequent action caused by the dog. All dogs should be restrained at all times.
  • Only good sportsmanship is expected.
